"Here we go guys, here we go, a rock and bloody roll record unleashed by the trio and embellished by their sax, fiddle and pedal steel bothering mates when required. It’s a full on in your chops 10 track stomper of an album which has its running gears in punk rock with rockabilly, country and blues manifestations, emblazoned with anything that makes it bounce even better, This is once again a genre mangling exercise of the highest order, rock n roll is not just alive and kicking but absolutely bouncing out of its skin. This is one of the best contemporary albums I have had the pleasure or reviewing in a long time." Simon Nott, UK Rock+Roll
We'd like to annouce a brand new alliance with Property Of The Lost record label, who during lockdown asked if we'd be up for recording a cover of the classic garage hit by the Brogues 'Miracle Worker'. We didn't have anything better do so knocked together some home recordings of our version along with an original 'b' side 'Death Threat'.
Turns out we enjoy working with Karl and POTL so much that we have agreed to put out a mini album together later in the year which will be released on 10" and CD. Keep your peepers peeled for pre order links in the coming months.

X Ray Cat Trio & Harriet Hyde - Bubblegum EP
7" Heavy Weight 70g Pink Vinyl
The latest slice from Leeds trash surf punks, X Ray Cat Trio, sees a guest appearance from Nico's ex-bandmate, Harriet Hyde (Black Moth).
The two of them had always bonded over an infatuation with bittersweet 50s pop and doo-wop crooners from The Ronettes to The Ramones.
Years ago they vowed to let loose those doe-eyed, lovelorn sensibilities and sure enough, here are four unabashedly achy-breaky rock’n’roll tracks. Scuzzy yet-saccharine, in the vein of Shannon and the Clams and Dan Sartain, these are an offering to the ghosts of our teenage hearts- the part of us that will forever be trapped in high school, haunting the corridors with the faintest whiff of cigarettes and candy. Swoon!
